How it works

1. Drop a DRM-free EPUB, PDF, TXT, or Markdown file, or paste text.
2. Optionally download the Kokoro voice model for Natural speech (WebGPU). Natural fetches model and runtime assets, then synthesizes in this browser.
3. Press play — Instant uses only a browser voice reported as local; Natural runs Kokoro in the page.

Privacy

• Junco does not upload or persist document contents. Parsing stays in the browser.
• Instant uses only voices the browser reports as local. Natural fetches model and runtime assets, then synthesizes client-side on WebGPU.
• Optional network after page load (besides fonts and anonymous analytics): Hugging Face model weights and ONNX Runtime glue if you choose Natural.
